Off-duty accident claims life of Cal Fire firefighter
Cal Fire recently announced the unfortunate passing of Mendocino Unit Firefighter One, Christion Schoenfeld, who tragically died in an off-duty incident. Schoenfeld had been with Cal Fire for three years, previously serving two fire seasons as a Handcrew Firefighter in the Amador-El Dorado Unit before being assigned to the Woodlands Fire Station in the Mendocino Unit.
