Novice Driver Crash at Harbor Dr. and Atherton Ave. on 8/15/25
A collision between two vehicles at Harbor Drive and Atherton Avenue in Novato resulted in at least one person being taken to the hospital on Friday morning. The incident was reported by the California Highway Patrol around 9:05 a.m., involving a white BMW X5 and a gray Honda Civic at the intersection east of Highway 37. The Civic suffered major front-end damage, while the BMW had significant damage to its rear left axle. Tow trucks from Nave Motors Towing and ATA Towing were summoned to remove the vehicles. One individual sustained injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital, although the severity of their injuries is currently unknown. The cause of the crash is still being investigated.
