Niagara County man dies following tree cutting accident
BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) -- A man from Porter in Niagara County is dead after a tree cutting accident Monday afternoon, according to the Niagara County Sheriff's office. Police received a call around 3:20 p.m. about a 59-year-old man who had been "seriously injured while cutting a tree" on Lake Road. EMS arrived and provided aid, but the man succumbed to his injuries, officials said. His name has yet to be released pending notification to his family. An investigation into the incident remains ongoing.
