Newton County experiences severe two-vehicle collision
A significant collision between two vehicles this morning caused a temporary traffic delay along U.S. 60 in southwest Missouri, near Otter Drive and U.S. 60 in Newton County. The incident, involving a Mercury Grand Marquis and a Peterbilt tractor-trailer, took place at approximately 8 a.m., just west of Granby. The cause of the crash and the extent of injuries are currently unknown, with the Missouri State Highway Patrol conducting an ongoing investigation. Traffic flow has now been restored in the area.
