KOAT obtained a copy of the police report which details the other driver's side of the story below. The family described Duverger as a beautiful soul, an amazing young man who was adventurous, a lover of people, enjoyed fished and cruising. On Thursday, May 14, 2025, KOAT spoke exclusively with Duverger's mother, Brooke and his fiancée, Angel Quintana. On Tuesday, KOAT reached out to the Albuquerque Police Department regarding the crash. A spokesperson sent our inquiry to APD's Fatal Crash Unit for further assistance. We're awaiting their response. Sixkiller stated she has sent a copy of the dash cam video to the department and is seeking further assistance into the details of her son's death."I have GPS locator on his car, and it showed that there was an impact. His phone called from accident response 911, which notified my mom because they have service together. She called me immediately and I started calling Enrique and he wasn't answering," Sixkiller told KOAT. "So, I looked at where the GPS was and it shows us where he was. Got down there as fast as we could and then we were blocked off by the police and they told us just to wait there and we waited," Sixkiller said."Finally, after what seemed like forever, they gave me a little white paper to call the sergeant and told me that he didn't make it in the accident," Sixkiller told KOATBackgroundAccording to Albuquerque Police Department, a Nissan Juke and Volkswagen traveling south on Coors collided and lost control. Enrique was ejected from his Nissan and was pronounced dead at the scene. Both vehicles cross the median into northbound traffic where the Nissan began to roll. Duverger was ejected from the Nissan and pronounced dead at the scene. The drive of the Volkwagon suffered non-life-threatening injuries.Crash/Police Report DetailsIn the police report obtained by the Albuquerque Police Fatal Crash Unit, the driver told officers on scene the following:He was traveling southbound on Coors Blvd NWAs he passed, he claims he observed 'Vehicle 2' was traveling at a "high rate of speed" in the center lane of Southbound Coors Blvd. NWAs they approached Sequioa Rd. NW, 'Vehicle 2' began to pass 'Vehicle 1' He tells officers Vehicle 2 clipped the front passenger side of his which caused it to collide with the rear end of Enrique's vehicle, etc.Video below: Enrique's dash cam video of final moments before crashIn the dash cam video, Duverger merges over a fog line to pass the other vehicle as he continues to drive. Moments later, 'Vehicle 1' speeds toward Duverger's vehicle, merges over three left lanes, then brake checks his car which caused Duverger to lose control. Duverger was ejected as his car began to roll over toward the side of road. How was Enrique's dash cam video found?According to Sixkiller, she received anonymous mail from an unknown address weeks after the fatal crash. Inside the envelope, it included Duverger's ID, Social Security Card and the dash cam video. However, Sixkiller stated when she tried to recover what was left of the dash cam video, the file was deleted. So, reached out to a friend for assistance that works in IT."Once I opened it, I see a little sandwich bag. It contains my son's dash cam, his driver's license, and a social security card along with a little white letter that said found this on Sequoia and Coors. I didn't watch the video for a while until I was able to get the police report about a week and a half, two weeks later," Sixkiller told KOAT."It just didn't sit right with me. So, then I decided to view the camera and noticed there was nothing for that day. I brought the SD card to a friend of mine that works with IT and they were able to recover a deleted file which was the entire accident," Sixkiller said."My heart just sank once I saw what really happened. I just have no words for it. I just couldn't believe it. And then to share it with our family and then to let Angel know. I had to tell Angel because she had no idea and that was hard to tell her," Sixkiller saidFaith Egbuonu: Do you feel this was your son's way of speaking his truth to the side of his story since he was pronounced dead at the scene?Brooke Sixkiller: Yeah, he's like 'This is not what happened.' He's sending it to me when I'm able to handle it because had this been any earlier during this time, I don't know how I would have been able to handle all of this. So, it's been a slow process, and I keep saying step-by-step and have to live. We just want the truth to be known because what's on that video is 100% the truth. There's no question about it. I just want justice for my son. I don't know what that means or what it'll be, but I just want to clear his name. All I have now are memories and pictures and his ashes that I have to wear every day around my neck. I'm never going to see him, so whatever we can do to bring my son justice and take care of what needs to be done.Enrique's Fiancée Quintana told KOAT she and Enrique were high school sweethearts. According to the family, he had just left Quintana's home before the fatal crash. {PHOTO}"It's been really hard and just losing someone, the closest person to me has been the hardest thing in my life to ever deal with. I was actually supposed to graduate from my school the next day. So, I stayed behind to get ready for the next day and I went to sleep," Quintana told KOAT. "I heard a knock on the door, like banging, and the doorbell. So, I literally jumped up and ran to the door and it was his big sister Savannah. She told me that he had passed away, and I was just like, 'No, no. This can't be true. It was just a really big shock," Quintana said.Stay updated on the latest news updates with the KOAT app. Download it here.
