New information revealed about deadly West Glacier plane incident
We have received updates regarding a plane crash that occurred on Saturday morning near West Glacier, resulting in the tragic deaths of two individuals. According to Flathead County Sheriff Brian Heino, a witness at the scene reported that the plane went down shortly after taking off from Ryan Field, crashing approximately 100 yards past the airstrip and igniting in flames upon impact. The bodies of the victims have been transported to the Montana State Crime Lab for autopsies, and efforts to positively identify them are currently underway.
