Nashville homeowner unharmed as car crashes through roof: ‘I felt protected’
Over the weekend in Nashville, a car crashed through the roof of a home, injuring two people, as reported by officials. The incident occurred after 8 a.m. on Sunday. Homeowner Jennifer Pittman recounted how her house shook when the vehicle crashed and got stuck in the roof, with its front end extending into her bedroom. Fortunately, she and her dogs in the living room were unharmed. Pittman, who believes she was being watched over, shared that her road is known for dangerous driving and she hopes for safety improvements. Authorities mentioned that the driver of the car suffered a broken neck and is facing charges of reckless endangerment and DUI, having hit an embankment at high speed before becoming airborne. The vehicle was successfully removed from Pittman's roof on Sunday.
