Mushroom-intoxicated man's actions lead to deadly accident, jury determines

A jury in Clackamas County has found a man guilty on charges of manslaughter and other offenses following a tragic car accident that occurred in 2023. Fullington William Frazer III was under the influence of psychedelic mushrooms when he ran a red light in his Dodge Caliber at 60 mph, causing a collision with two other vehicles. The crash resulted in the deaths of his passenger, Mitchell Scott Barr, and the driver of another vehicle, Fleetwood Mars Mozee. Additionally, two individuals in a Toyota Prius sustained injuries. Prosecutors noted Frazer's peculiar behavior following the incident, including his remarks and actions. A toxicology test revealed the presence of psilocybin mushrooms in Frazer's system. He is scheduled to be sentenced on May 2 after being convicted on multiple charges, including two counts of first-degree manslaughter.
