The murder case of Sheetal Choudhary has been resolved by the Haryana police, with the perpetrator, a married man and father of two who was known as her 'male friend,' confessing to the crime. The model's body, discovered with a slit throat, was found in a canal in the state. The accused, identified as Sunil, admitted to clashing with Sheetal on the night of the incident. The argument escalated into physical violence, resulting in him assaulting and stabbing Sheetal before throwing her body into the waterway. Initially, Sunil tried to pass off the murder as an accident. Sheetal had traveled to a village in Panipat for a photoshoot, where she and Sunil drank in her car. Following a dispute, Sheetal contacted Sunil's sister, reporting his violence towards her. Shortly after this call, her phone became unresponsive. The police located Sunil's car in the canal, but Sheetal was not inside. Sunil falsely claimed that Sheetal drowned while he survived by swimming to safety after their car plunged into the water. Her lifeless body, which bore signs of a slit throat, was eventually recovered 80 kilometers away. Sunil has now admitted to the crime. It was revealed that Sheetal was also married and living separately from her husband due to a domestic discord. An investigation is ongoing to establish if anyone else was involved in the case.
