Murder charges upheld for driver in fatal crash that killed 4 Pepperdine students in Southern California

The man accused of causing the tragic deaths of four Pepperdine students in a car crash on Pacific Coast Highway was unsuccessful in his attempt to dismiss some of the charges against him. Fraser Bohm, who recently enlisted the help of high-profile lawyer Alan Jackson, is still facing four counts of murder for the incident that occurred on Oct. 17, 2023. Bohm allegedly struck and killed undergraduates Niamh Rolston, Peyton Stewart, Asha Weir, and Deslyn Williams while driving at speeds exceeding 100 mph. Despite his attorneys' arguments that Bohm was not intoxicated or distracted at the time, and that the crash resulted from a road-rage situation, a judge in Van Nuys ruled that the case will proceed with murder charges. Bohm's trial is expected to commence soon.
