The Lee County Sheriff's department dealt with an accident on Sunday evening in Fort Myers. According to deputies, the collision occurred at approximately 8:40 p.m. involving two cars, resulting in three individuals being taken to the hospital. The incident occurred at the intersection of South Tamiami Trail and Michael G. Rippe Parkway in Fort Myers, with response teams from San Carlos Park Fire and Lee County EMS also on the scene.
