Multiple Casualties Reported in New Jersey Small Plane Crash
A plane carrying 15 people for skydiving veered off a runway in New Jersey, crashing into a wooded area, as reported by the Associated Press. Emergency services labeled it as a "mass casualty incident," prompting concerns about aviation safety protocols. Recent airplane incidents nationwide, including a collision near Washington, D.C., have amplified these safety concerns. The Cessna 208B aircraft crash at a privately operated airport 21 miles southeast of Philadelphia resulted in all passengers being taken to Cooper University Hospital. While three are in the trauma center and eight in the emergency department, four with minor injuries await assessment. New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy assured that all injured individuals were in the hospital with no fatalities reported. The investigation is ongoing.
