Mountain biker rescued by helicopter following Holy Cross Trail mishap
Last Friday, the Mesa County Search and Rescue team responded to a call for help involving a mountain biker who had been injured in a crash on Holy Cross Trail near Little Park Road. Working alongside the Grand Junction Fire Department, the MCSAR team provided medical assistance to the biker at the site before moving them in a wheeled litter to a CareFlight landing zone for transport to a hospital.
