Motorcyclist sustains severe injuries in Amherst accident
In Amherst, a motorcyclist was seriously injured in a collision on Friday morning at the Main Street and Campus Drive intersection. Both the motorcyclist and the driver of the passenger car involved were transported to Erie County Medical Center for treatment. Main Street was closed for more than four hours from Harlem Road to Mount Vernon Road. The incident is currently under investigation, and anyone with information or relevant surveillance footage is urged to contact Amherst police at (716) 689-1311.
