Motorcyclist killed in South Jordan accident on Wednesday night

An 18-year-old motorcyclist tragically lost his life after a collision with a vehicle in South Jordan. The incident occurred when a vehicle turned southbound onto Temple Drive, colliding with one of the motorcyclists traveling east along 11400 South. The victim, who was transported to Intermountain Medical Center, passed away. The identity of the deceased has not yet been disclosed. Another motorcyclist managed to avoid the collision by laying down their bike. South Jordan police are investigating the incident to determine the cause, with speed potentially playing a role. The South Valley Crash Team, comprised of law enforcement from South Jordan, Riverton, and Herriman, responded to the scene. The second motorcyclist involved is in stable condition, and the driver of the vehicle involved was unharmed.
