Motorcyclist killed in multi-vehicle crash on RM 1431
AUSTIN (KXAN) — A motorcyclist was killed in a multi-vehicle crash Wednesday that shut down a stretch of Ranch to Market Road 1431 in Round Rock, police said. Eastbound and westbound lanes of RM 1431 were closed between Interstate 35 and the entrance to Texas Crushed Stone following the crash, according to the Round Rock Police Department. The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. Police did not immediately release the victim’s identity or details about how the crash occurred. Drivers were urged to avoid the area and seek alternate routes as the investigation continues.
