Motorcyclist killed in Denver crash shuts down part of I-70 on Thursday

A deadly accident involving a motorcyclist resulted in the closure of a portion of Interstate 70 in the early hours of Thursday morning, as reported by the Denver Police Department (DPD). The incident occurred at the intersection of I-70 and N. Tennyson Street around 1:24 a.m. on Thursday. Both eastbound and westbound lanes on I-70 were shut down between Sheridan and Federal Boulevards. Drivers were encouraged to take alternate routes, but the road was reopened by 3:48 a.m. on Thursday, according to the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT). The DPD is conducting an investigation to determine the circumstances leading to the crash.
