
Motorcyclist killed in crash on Route 13 in Brookline, police say
A motorcyclist is dead after a crash in Brookline Tuesday night, police said.Brookline police Chief Bill Quigley confirmed with News 9 that officers responded to the crash in the area of Route 13 near Quimby Road.Officials said they believe the motorcyclist was attempting to turn left into a private driveway when he was rear-ended by a Ford pickup truck.>> Download the free WMUR app to get updates on the go: Apple | Google Play <<Quigley said the driver of the Ford pickup truck got out of the vehicle and attempted to perform life-saving measures on the motorcyclist.Officials said the motorcyclist was transported to the hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. The name of the motorcyclist has not been released. Quigley said at this time, impairment does not appear to be a factor in the crash.According to the New Hampshire Department of Transportation, as of May 1 there had been three deadly motorcycle crashes in the state.
