Motorcyclist killed in crash; Northeast Airport Way shut for hours

A motorcyclist was killed Tuesday night in a single-vehicle crash in Portland’s Argay Terrace neighborhood, prompting a closure of Northeast Airport Way for several hours. Portland Police officers were dispatched at 8:36 p.m. Tuesday, July 14 to a crash involving a motorcycle at Northeast Airport Way and Northeast 138th Avenue. Police and AMR arrived and found the motorcyclist dead. The Major Crash Team responded to investigate. The investigation was ongoing Tuesday night, and no other details were released by police.
