Motorcyclist killed in crash near Sunset Station
LAS VEGAS (KLAS) -- A motorcyclist was killed in a crash near Sunset Station Thursday morning, police said. According to the Henderson Police Department, officers responded to Sunset Road and Marks Street after a collision between a motorcycle and a vehicle. The collision occurred just after 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 17. Medical personnel pronounced the motorcyclist dead. There were no other reported injuries, police said. Speed and alcohol were unknown factors at the time of publication. Drivers are asked to avoid the area "for an extended period of time" during the investigation. Police said the intersection of Sunset and Marks was shut down. Shortly after 1 p.m., RTC of Southern Nevada said the incident was clear and all travel lanes were open.
