Motorcyclist dies in multi-car collision in Parkers Prairie, confirmed by state patrol

A tragic accident occurred on Sunday morning in east-central Minnesota resulting in the death of a motorcyclist. The incident took place in Parkers Prairie, Otter Tail County, located approximately 20 miles north of Alexandria. According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a 45-year-old man from Miltona was traveling northbound on Highway 29 when he collided with a southbound minivan making a turn into a driveway near 108th Street. The motorcycle then struck a southbound sedan. The drivers of the minivan and sedan, a 90-year-old woman from Parkers Prairie and a 51-year-old man from Ivanhoe, were fortunately unharmed as they were both wearing seat belts. The motorcyclist was also wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. The state patrol is conducting further investigations, and alcohol is not suspected to have been a factor in the accident.
