Motorcyclist dies in I-15 crash in Las Vegas
LAS VEGAS (KLAS) -- The Nevada State Police responded to a crash on the I-15 northbound near Spring Mountain Road around 6:06 p.m. on Saturday. According to Metro police, a motorcyclist was driving on Desert Inn Boulevard over I-15. He struck the railing over the south guard rail of the arterial. The motorcyclist landed in the northbound travel lanes of the I-15 and was pronounced dead on the scene. Metro police say that impairment is unknown and appears to be a single-car accident. The lanes are closed on the I-15 northbound during the investigation, as well as Desert Inn Boulevard eastbound from Polaris Avenue to Paradise Road. Metro police are advising drivers to find an alternative route.
