Motorcyclist Dies in Accident in Northern Kentucky
A motorcycle collision in Hebron, Kentucky led to a fatality involving the operator of the motorcycle, Maxwell Trentman, aged 18. The incident occurred on westbound I-275 when Trentman lost control of his Kawasaki motorcycle, causing him to slide off the road and hit a guardrail. Trentman was ejected into the roadway and subsequently struck by four vehicles. Another motorcyclist, Lorenzo Karuppan, also lost control of his motorcycle due to debris from the collision. Karuppan was taken to St. Elizabeth Hospital with minor injuries. Authorities believe factors such as excessive speed and failure to maintain lane played a role in the crash. The Boone County Sheriff's Office Accident Reconstruction Unit is investigating the incident, with all involved parties cooperating. The highway was closed for investigation and later reopened at 3:58 a.m.
