Motorcycle crash near Dayton airport claims two lives
An ongoing investigation is being conducted following a fatal accident near the Dayton International Airport. The crash involved a Harley Davidson motorcycle on Logistics Lane at around 1:05 a.m. Reports suggest that the motorcycle was traveling eastbound when it hit a curb and then went off the road, colliding with a hill. The bike was propelled into the air and struck the airport's fence before landing inside the airport premises. Both the driver, identified as Christian Price, 24, of Ansonia, and the passenger, identified as Austin Evans, 25, of West Milton, were ejected from the motorcycle and sadly pronounced dead at the scene. None of the individuals were wearing helmets, and authorities suspect that excessive speed played a role in the crash. Multiple agencies, including the Dayton International Airport Police Department and Fire Department, are assisting in the investigation.
