Motorcycle crash leaves 1 dead, 1 seriously injured
A tragic accident in Hudson on Thursday morning resulted in the death of a motorcyclist and serious injuries to his passengers. The incident occurred when a 33-year-old man from New Port Richey was traveling eastbound on New York Avenue, and an 80-year-old woman from Hudson driving an Infiniti M35 was traveling westbound at the same time. At the intersection of US-19, the woman from Hudson made a left turn in front of the motorcyclist, leading to a collision. The motorcyclist was transported to a nearby hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. His 32-year-old female passenger from New Port Richey also sustained serious injuries and was taken to the hospital. Fortunately, the woman from Hudson did not suffer any injuries in the crash.
