
Motorcycle crash in Jefferson County leaves one dead, four injured
A fatal motorcycle crash in New Market, Tennessee resulted in one individual dead and four others injured, as reported by the Tennessee Highway Patrol. The deceased was identified as Jeremy Arangio, 35 years old. Authorities are considering filing charges against another driver involved in the incident. The crash occurred on US Highway 25/70 near Betty Lou Drive, involving a 2005 Kawasaki JKA motorcycle and a 2023 Subaru Ascent traveling east on the highway, as well as a 1998 Toyota Sienna traveling west. Arangio attempted to pass the Ascent by moving into the westbound lane, leading to a collision with the Sienna head-on. The Ascent also collided with the motorcycle. The occupants of the Ascent and Sienna, who were all wearing seat belts, sustained injuries. Charges are being contemplated against the driver of the Sienna according to the report.
