Motorcycle crash in Huntington Beach leaves 1 dead, 1 injured
According to a statement released by the Huntington Beach Police Department, a tragic accident occurred early Tuesday morning in Huntington Beach, resulting in the death of a 35-year-old man from Santa Ana who was riding a blue 2006 Suzuki motorcycle and the serious injury of his 27-year-old female passenger from Anaheim. The motorcycle collided with a guardrail near the Pacific Coast Highway and Warner Avenue intersection around 12:15 a.m. Following the crash, the motorcyclist was struck by another vehicle which fled the scene without rendering aid. Authorities are now seeking the driver of the vehicle that left the scene and are urging anyone with information to contact Investigator C. Houlston at 714-536-5670.
