
Motorcycle crash in Elk Grove disrupts traffic
(FOX40.COM) — Elk Grove Police Department responded to a vehicle crash involving a motorcycle on Wednesday afternoon. • Video above: How to report a public safety threat According to EGPD, the incident happened on the eastbound Sheldon Road near Lewis Stein Road at around 3:50 p.m. EGPD stated that when medics arrived at the scene, they started to give medical aid to the 23-year-old motorist before they were transported to a local hospital, and later died from his injuries and was pronounced deceased. Authorities said the preliminary investigation shows that a vehicle was traveling southbound from Sheldon Road and crashed with the motorist who was riding eastbound on Sheldon Road. EGPD said the driver and rear passenger of the SUV were not injured and they have been cooperating in this investigation.
