Deputies in Hillsborough County are currently investigating a tragic incident that resulted in the death of a motorcyclist and the closure of part of Lithia Pinecrest Rd. early Thursday morning. The collision between a vehicle and a motorcycle occurred around 4 a.m. near Coconut Cove Place in Valrico. As a result of the crash, the motorcyclist passed away at the scene.
