Motorcycle accident in Queensbury results in 1 fatality and 2 injuries

One person was killed and two others were injured in a collision between a car and a motorcycle in Queensbury, as reported by the New York State Police. The incident took place on State Route 9L, and State Police troopers arrived at the scene around 11:06 a.m. The investigation revealed that a sedan heading southbound was making a left turn into a business when a southbound motorcycle attempted to pass on the left side, resulting in a collision. The motorcycle operator, identified as 18-year-old Austin Pagan of Queensbury, was thrown from the vehicle and tragically passed away at the scene. Additionally, two pedestrians in the parking lot were struck by both the motorcycle and Pagan. These pedestrians sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to a local hospital. Authorities noted that the driver of the sedan has been cooperative, and as of now, no charges have been pressed. The crash investigation is still ongoing.
