Mother remembers daughter after recent accident

The family of a woman from Richmond who tragically passed away in a car accident on Wednesday is reflecting on her life. Victoria McQueary, 27, was known for her many talents, including playing multiple musical instruments and balancing her job as an office manager at CHI St. Joseph Hospital while also pursuing a career in modeling. Marcia McQueary, Victoria's mother, fondly remembers her daughter as a unique individual who had a passion for people and modeling. Victoria, a recent graduate of EKU with plans to travel to Japan with her brother, was practicing Japanese before her life was cut short in the crash at the intersection of Richmond Road and Berea Bypass. The investigation of the collision is ongoing, and details about the other driver involved have not been disclosed by LEX 18. Marcia McQueary shared her last moments trying to contact Victoria after receiving an alert about the crash, and she now finds solace in being surrounded by her daughter's belongings. Friends and community members who wish to support the McQueary family during this difficult time can donate through Victoria's Venmo account: $jm1996forever. A memorial visitation for Victoria will take place on Monday, April 14, from 5-7 p.m. in Berea.
