Mother of two young boys identified as victim of fatal San Jose crash

(KRON) — A 24-year-old mother of two from Santa Cruz has been identified as the victim of a fatal San Jose crash, which happened near the area of San Tomas Expressway and Moorpark Avenue on April 19. The victim, Savannah Stevens, was a passenger in the car at the time of the deadly rollover. Stevens was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver was hospitalized with major injuries. Stevens leaves behind two young boys, her family told KRON4. The family set up a GoFundMe page following the tragedy to raise money for Stevens’ funeral costs. “We lost Savannah suddenly and tragically due to being a passenger in a vehicle on April 19, 2025, around 9 p.m.,” the GoFundMe page reads. “Savannah was a bright person, filled with laughs, never-ending jokes, and burns.” As of May 15, the GoFundMe has raised roughly $3,300. “We're going to miss her beautiful smile and contagious laugh,” the GoFundMe reads. “She leaves behind two young boys that will miss her dearly. Please help us lay Savannah to rest so we can say our final goodbyes.”
