Mother of 5-year-old girl dies from injuries in Franklin car accident
A tragic car crash in Franklin claimed the lives of a young girl and her mother, Norfolk District Attorney Michael Morrissey announced. Minaben Patel, 38, was driving with her family when they were struck by an alleged drunk driver. The crash also resulted in the death of five-year-old Krisha Patel, while the father and son sustained injuries. The driver, James Blanchard, pleaded not guilty to various charges. A service will be held in memory of Minaben Patel, with authorities expressing their condolences to the family.
