
Mother and son arrested at Miami airport following deadly New Jersey street race mishap and fleeing endeavor
A man and his mother from Staten Island are facing serious charges, including aggravated manslaughter, after authorities say he caused a fatal crash in Plainsboro, New Jersey during a dangerous BMW street race. Alvi Limani, 20, is charged with multiple offenses, including manslaughter and driving recklessly, while his mother, Vilma Vneshta, 42, is charged with hindering apprehension. Both are currently in custody at the Middlesex County Adult Correctional Center. The crash resulted in the death of 20-year-old Albion Hysenaj and serious injuries to another individual. The incident involved two BMW cars racing on the Garden State Parkway, with Limani allegedly driving at high speeds which led to the fatal crash. Following the accident, Limani and his girlfriend attempted to flee the scene but were later apprehended. Jeter Ogando, another participant in the street race, is also facing charges related to the incident. Limani and Vneshta were arrested near Miami, Florida after attempting to leave the country. They are currently being held at the Middlesex County Department of Corrections.
