Morning commute delayed by fiery I-280 crash in East Orange, N.J.

A major traffic incident on I-280 in New Jersey during the morning commute led to significant delays. A helicopter flew over the area in East Orange and observed two vehicles involved, one with roof fire damage and the other stuck under a tree. The crash occurred just after 7:30 a.m., resulting in the closure of the eastbound ramp to the Garden State Parkway and delays spanning over two miles. Emergency crews worked to clear the scene, loading the vehicle with fire damage onto a flatbed truck. As of now, the cause of the crash and any injuries sustained are undisclosed.
