Moped driver killed in crash was not wearing helmet
Authorities in Grand Junction, Colorado have identified the driver involved in a deadly moped accident that occurred recently. The driver, 32-year-old Alex Rizor, tragically passed away after crashing the moped on North Avenue near 28 Road. Rizor was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. The incident took place around 2:20 a.m., when the moped crossed a median before crashing. The Grand Junction Police Department is investigating the accident and temporarily closed down North Avenue for further inquiry.
