Montville man driving BMW dies in Lisbon car crash, state police say
LISBON — A Montville man was killed in a two-car crash in Lisbon early Saturday morning, state police said. Friday around 3 a.m., Montville troopers responded to a two-car crash on I-395 northbound in the area of Exit 19 in Lisbon, police said. A BMW driven by Montville resident Keith Mutch, 26, hit the rear of another car, driven by a Rhode Island resident, state police said. Mutch was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. The driver and a passenger in the other car were sent to Backus Hospital in Norwich for suspected minor injuries, police said. State police and the Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Squad are investigating the crash. Anyone with information or who witnessed the collision is asked to contact Troop E in Montville, police said.
