MMA fighter Reug Reug in 'severe auto collision'

ONE heavyweight champion Oumar “Reug Reug” Kane has been involved in a serious car accident, leading to the postponement of his upcoming rematch against Anatoly Malykhin. The fight was supposed to take place on November 16 at ONE 173 in Japan. The Senegalese fighter sustained injuries in the accident in the UAE, forcing him to withdraw from the event. This news comes as a blow to Reug Reug, who was eager to defend his heavyweight title in front of a huge crowd in Japan. His victory over Marcus Buchecha had earned him the shot at Malykhin’s title, and a rematch was set due to Malykhin's strong performance in ONE. However, fans will now have to wait for a new date for the fight. In the meantime, other title fights at ONE 173 will proceed as scheduled, with Christian Lee defending his welterweight title against Alibeg Rasulov and Joshua Pacio challenging Yuya Wakamatsu for the flyweight championship.
