Los Angeles Angels minor league player Rio Foster was recently in a severe car accident as a passenger, as reported by the team. In an official statement on Friday, the organization shared an update on Foster's condition, noting that he is currently in critical condition receiving medical care at a local hospital. The Angels asked for the support of the entire Angels community to keep Rio and his family in their thoughts during this challenging time. Foster, who was selected in the 16th round of the 2023 MLB Draft, has been an impactful player this season.
