Milwaukee family mourns 17-year-old girl lost in scooter accident
A Milwaukee family is expressing their grief over the tragic passing of a 17-year-old girl who reportedly succumbed to injuries sustained from a fall off a rented scooter. Connie Hutchison, a promising senior at Alliance High School, had dreams of becoming a hairdresser and was eagerly looking forward to her upcoming 18th birthday in December. Monique Johnson fondly remembers her younger sister as a remarkable and beloved individual, describing her as sweet, genuine, and full of energy. The incident occurred during a family gathering following Johnson's son's graduation, as Connie decided to take a ride on a Lime scooter out of boredom. Unfortunately, she fell off the scooter and suffered injuries to her stomach, leading to her tragic passing after being transported to the hospital. Lime representatives are investigating the involvement of one of their vehicles in the incident and are cooperating with local authorities in their inquiries.
