
Military vehicle crashes over highway wall, injuring two and falling 30 feet onto road
According to the Washington State Patrol, a military Humvee towing a trailer veered off Interstate 90 in Bellevue, Washington, on Saturday, crashing over a retaining wall onto a street below. The incident occurred on eastbound I-90 near the Eastgate neighborhood when the vehicle inexplicably drifted to the right and left the freeway, dropping about 30 feet onto Southeast 38th St. Trooper Rick Johnson provided details to Fox News Digital, explaining that the Humvee and trailer were heading eastbound on I-90 when the incident occurred. Only two people in the military vehicle were injured and taken to a nearby hospital for minor injuries. The convoy, believed to be headed to the Yakima Training Center, was significantly damaged in the accident. Photos shared by Johnson depict the aftermath of the crash and the steep descent from the freeway to the street below. Investigations are ongoing to determine the cause of the crash.
