Migrant pleads guilty in accident that claimed boy's life a day before his 12th birthday

An undocumented woman was responsible for a tragic head-on collision in Missouri that claimed the life of a young boy. The incident occurred on December 20, 2023, when 33-year-old Endrina Bracho was driving the wrong way down a highway at 75 miles per hour, 35 miles over the speed limit. She collided with another vehicle, resulting in the death of 12-year-old Travis Wolfe. Bracho, a Venezuelan migrant without a driver's license, pleaded guilty to charges of first-degree involuntary manslaughter and second-degree assault. She is scheduled to be sentenced in September, with prosecutors recommending a 10-year sentence for manslaughter and seven years for assault. Travis's sister expressed anger over the incident, emphasizing the need for proper documentation and licensure for drivers. Senator Josh Hawley of Missouri reacted to the plea deal, noting that Bracho should not have been in the U.S. in the first place. He introduced "Travis's Law" to prevent similar tragedies caused by criminal illegal aliens.
