MECHANICSVILLE, Va. — A Midlothian motorcyclist was killed Sunday in a Mechanicsville crash.The Hanover County Sheriff’s Office identified the crash victim as 25-year-old Tyler Lowe of Midlothian, Virginia."At approximately 9:30 p.m., deputies responded to the 7200 block of Walnut Grove Road in Mechanicsville for a single-vehicle motorcycle accident," investigators said. "The preliminary investigation revealed that a 2006 Harley Davidson was traveling west on Walnut Grove Road when it left the right side of the roadway, striking a mailbox and fence, and ejecting the rider."The cause of the crash remains under investigation.This is a developing story.
