Miami Hurricanes linebacker Adarius Hayes was involved in a fatal two-vehicle crash in Largo, Florida. The collision, which resulted in three deaths and injuries to others, occurred on Saturday afternoon between a Kia Soul and a Dodge Durango driven by Hayes. The investigation is ongoing, and no charges have been filed thus far. Hayes and one other individual were hospitalized with injuries but are expected to recover. The crash took place in Hayes' hometown, and authorities have not found any signs of impairment in either driver. The university has not released a statement regarding Hayes' situation. Hayes, a highly recruited player from Largo High, joined the Miami Hurricanes last season and played in 12 games as a freshman primarily on special teams. Largo is located 20 miles east of Tampa and 15 miles north of St. Petersburg on Florida's Gulf coast.
