Medical examiner responds to crash on McKnight Road in North Hills
The Allegheny County medical examiner was summoned to the site of a deadly accident on McKnight Road in Ross Township. The incident occurred around 11 p.m. last Wednesday on the 4500 block. According to reports, when the driver reached McKnight Hotel, he spotted a woman standing in the lane but was unable to avoid hitting her. Tragically, the woman was declared deceased at the scene. Authorities have determined that the driver was not under the influence of alcohol. An ongoing investigation is underway to reconstruct the sequence of events.
