Massive crash pile-up blocks multiple LIE lanes during morning rush
QUEENS, N.Y. (PIX11) -- Multiple cars were seen piled on top of one another on the Long Island Expressway during the morning rush on Friday, video from CitizenApp and Air11 shows. The crash shut down all westbound lanes near 27th Street in Queens, according to an advisory from Notify NYC. The pile-up blocked at least three lanes of traffic near the approach to the Midtown Tunnel, video shows. The condition of the occupants of the cars was not immediately made known.
