A wrong-way crash in Methuen, Massachusetts resulted in a tragic incident over the weekend, as captured in a video showing the fiery aftermath. The Massachusetts State Police, along with the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, are currently investigating the collision that occurred on Interstate 495. According to the Essex County District Attorney's office, an Alfa Romeo was traveling in the opposite direction on the southbound lane of 495 when it collided with a tractor-trailer near the Route 213 exit in Methuen, around 1:30 a.m on Sunday, October 26. The driver of the car, identified as 39-year-old Kenneth Landry from Seabrook, New Hampshire, was declared dead at the scene. Thankfully, the truck driver was unharmed in the incident. Witness Eric Hartford described the shocking scene, noting that both vehicles were engulfed in flames immediately after the crash. He expressed his disbelief and concern about the reckless driving, emphasizing the danger of being on the wrong side of the highway in the early hours of the morning.
