Emergency crews rescued a 67-year-old man who fell off a bridge after a car accident in Charlotte County. The incident took place on Wednesday morning, involving a semi-trailer and a Jeep on northbound I-75 near exit 166, the Peace River Bridge. Following the crash, both vehicles pulled over onto the emergency lane. The man from the Jeep tried to walk to the semi-trailer by stepping on the bridge ledge but ended up falling approximately 45 feet into a wooded area.
