Man probably suffered medical issue before deadly Middletown wreck
A man tragically passed away following what is believed to be a medical emergency that led to a car crash in Middletown. The incident occurred on South Breiel Boulevard, and the road was closed for several hours as a result. The individual driving a white car experienced a medical issue, causing a collision with another vehicle and then accelerating onto the sidewalk. Fortunately, the female driver of the other vehicle sustained minor injuries and was taken to Atrium Medical Center for treatment. Investigators are looking into the crash, though drugs or alcohol are not suspected to have played a role. The Journal-News collaborates with WCPO.com.
