Man killed in single-vehicle crash in Fairfax County
FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. (DC News Now) -- Fairfax County investigators are at the scene of a fatal crash that happened near Mantua on Wednesday afternoon. Details remain limited, however, the Fairfax County Police Department (FCPD) said the single-vehicle crash happened at Prosperity Avenue and Morningside Drive. The driver, a man, was pronounced dead at the scene. FCPD noted the intersection would be closed as crews continue to investigate the crash. Drivers are asked to use an alternative route.
